In this article the goal is - a comparative study of the advantages of one-arm pump jack over two-arm pump jack. For that, the calculation of the main parameters was maid – displacenemt, speed and acceleration of suspension poin of rods and built comperative graphs for commercially avaible deaxial pump jack type of SKD8-3-4000 and the proposed construction of a one-arm pump jack. There are existing options, for holding a one-arm pump jack on the weight of the balancer when changing the stroke length of the suspension point of the rods that reviewed.
