Abstract

Power control of superconducting magnetic energy storage plays an important role in realizing its applications in power system. Taking current source converter and voltage source converter as research objects, this paper discusses a SPWM switching strategy , which realizes effective control of amplitude and phase of converter's AC current. On this basis, this paper presents a power control method which is available in operating real-time regulation on active and reactive power of both superconducting magnetic energy storages.
