DESIGN ETHNIC MOTIVATIONS USING THE APPLICATION IN THE CLOTHES OF UKRAINIAN DESIGNERS

Abstract

The emergence of a significant number of fashion events that involve the use of designer “ethnic motifs” in Ukrainian attire is a distinctive feature of modern Ukrainian culture. The main fashion events in Ukraine are Ukrainian fashion week, Lviv Fashion Week, Fashion Week “Defile in Kyiv”, Kyiv Fashion. Several leading Ukrainian fashion designers and brands have been presenting their designer’s “ethnic attire” collections at various fashion shows (Fashion Weeks and Days, festivals, parties) for many years. The presentation of the author’s vision, stylization, and transformation of motifs are also important.
