Abstract
Balanced power flow distribution is beneficial for improving the security and economy of power system operation. However, with the large-scale integration of renewable energy and the randomness of load consumption, there are more strict requirements for the power flow equilibrium of power system. Therefore, it becomes necessary to study the analysis and control methods of such equilibrium. The unified power flow controller (UPFC) is introduced to balance the power flow distribution in the stochastic context by adjusting the control parameters. In addition, the equilibrium degree of distribution can be used to quantify the power flow equilibrium of the lines, the probabilistic results of which are determined by means of the probabilistic power flow calculation based on Latin hypercube simulation method (LHS). The results of IEEE39 Test System indicate that the power flow distribution of the transmission section is more balanced after the UPFC is configured.
