Abstract

This paper analyses the signals with broadband spectrum in order to identify the possibility of their use in information transmission systems in complex electromagnetic circumstances. The possibility of practical implementation of signals in the systems of information transmission and control of signal parameters with the purpose of obtaining high-dimensional signaling space is analyzed. Comparative statistical and correlation properties of different types of self-similar signals: fractal splines, broadband signals, and fractal Brownian noise type signals.
