Abstract

Machine learning plays a vital role in many research areas. It has also been used in agriculture field to analyze the data. This paper proposed a feature fusion based machine learning approach to detect the crop area of rice plants grown in Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is a state in India known as "Bowl of Rice" and is primarily chosen for performing the experiments. The proposed work will helpful in analyzing the rice crop growth by using k-means clustering to detect the color based area. The work is compared with other state-of-art segmentation techniques.
