Abstract
This paper reviews the state-of-the art of modelling, simulation and visualisation and reviews the recent development of modelling, simulation and visualisation software for Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE). Simulation and visualisation can assist in the design and development of electromagnetic sensing and imaging techniques and systems for nondestructive testing, feature extraction and inverse problems for quantitative nondestructive evaluation.
