Abstract

Recently as video cameras, digital cameras and low-priced video authoring tools have been getting commonly used, the opportunities of authoring personal videos have increased. However, the quality of a created movie requires not only a capability to draw up a scenario but also the skill to operate the technical tools. In order to make amateur users to concentrate scenario when editing movies, we propose a scenario-centered video authoring method in which we extract the scenario structure from a movie, construct its network model, and then edit the movie based on the network model.
