A coding method based on the complex principles of AV1 coding and multidimensional spatial transformation is proposed. The practical attainability of the developed method and algorithms is shown. Abstract

The problem of compression of high-resolution streaming video for transmission over low-speed satellite communication channels of small spacecraft is considered. It has been determined that the specificity of using small spacecraft in low orbits, on the one hand, imposes a number of restrictions on weight and size characteristics and energy consumption, on the other hand, it opens up new opportunities for obtaining high-resolution visual information. Approaches to real-time video data compression are considered, which make it possible to implement a subminiature encoder in the “system-onchip” basis. A coding method based on the complex principles of AV1 coding and multidimensional spatial transformation is proposed. The practical attainability of the developed method and algorithms is shown.
