The report also enumerates critical parameters of the fabricated antenna including its S-parameter, beam width and gain. Abstract

This paper deals with parametric study and design of slotted Vivaldi antennas, which is suitable for Through Wall Imaging (TWI) Radar systems. For through wall imaging (TWI) application, the transmitting and receiving antenna must be compact and lightweight for portability, high gain, easy to make array and ultra-wide bandwidth. Therefore, Design and fabricate of Vivaldi antenna, an exponentially tapered slotted antenna (ETSA) having broadband width, high efficiency and high gain characteristics.
