Abstract
In the last few years, particularly since the London ́s Congestion Charging Scheme (2003) urban toll rings have became one of the most relevant topics in urban mobility and congestion discussion among academics, technicians and administrators. However, available information is scarce, simplistic and often based by group interest. In these conditions, getting a well-founded opinion about these systems seems to be very difficult.
