Many classifiers such as support vector machine, K-nearest neighbor, neural network and gaussian mixture model are used. Applications and issues in video genre classification are discussed. Abstract
With recent advances in digital technologies the amount of multimedia data is increasing every day. Therefore, there is a strong demand for a procedure that classifies multimedia data according to users need.
