Abstract

Oscilloscopes may contain manufacturing defects in their BNC ports and need to be checked and tested one-by-one before packaging them. The testing process is still done manually by plugging a BNC connector into the BNC ports. Therefore, this work aims to develop an automatic inspection system that can be installed in the testing area in the plant of oscilloscope production. To do so, it needs to find the accurate position of each BNC and its distance from the installed camera on the tester robot arm.
