Abstract

Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) based on Ring Oscillators (ROs) are a promising primitive for FPGA security. However, the quality of their implementation depends on several design parameters. In this paper, we show that ring oscillator frequencies strongly depend on surrounding logic.
