Abstract

A novel spoof surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) unit structure is presented in this paper. The proposed unit structure consists of two parallel coupled open stubs, which has good dispersion characteristics. Compared with the conventional rectangular SSPP structure, it may be used to reduce the size of a component. A novel single-band and a dual-band wideband bandpass filter (BPF) with good insertion loss, high rejection level, strong electric field binding ability, and simple structure are designed.
