Requalificação do centro histórico de Teresina: século XXI

Abstract

"Requalificação do centro histórico de Teresina: século XXI" é o título deste artigo que possui como eixo temático na proposta deste evento as discussões sobre as relações existentes entre patrimônio e paisagem na cidade. A abordagem inicial trata da evolução do processo de urbanização da cidade de Teresina, com a discussão dos eixos de crescimento e dos planos de desenvolvimento urbano adotados pelo gerenciamento municipal. Seu enfoque principal se sustenta nas ações realizadas e nos crescentes debates a cerca da situação atual em que o patrimônio público municipal se apresenta, com seu posicionamento em relação aos atores envolvidos e sociedade em geral. "Redevelopment of the historic center of Teresina: XXI Century" is the title of this article that has as main theme of this event in the proposed discussions on the relationship between heritage and landscape in the city. The first approach deals with the evolution of the process of urbanization of the city of Teresina, with discussion of the axes of growth and urban development plans adopted by the municipal management. Its main focus is maintained on the actions taken and the growing debates about the current situation in which the municipal heritage is presented with its positioning in relation to stakeholders and society in general.
