No intraoperative or postoperative complications were encountered. All three owner questionnaires were returned and Feline Musculoskeletal Pain Index scores of 0, 1, and 4 were recorded out of a maximum score of 83 (normal cat range is −18 to 4; cats with degenerative joint disease range from 11 to 66). Quality of life was rated by the owners as excellent (⅔) or good (⅓). All cats returned to full activity.
