Abstract

A traffic flows optimal control problem in an urban road network is considered. It is assumed that all information on the traffic flows and maneuvers is known. The optimal control problem is to find duration of signal phases at controlled intersections that provide optimal traffic estimation in the considered road network. optimization criteria include penalties for violation of constraints.
