Questionnaire was used to collect data from respondents, however a sample of 91 instructors was collected, this of 60.6% of all respondents. The results of the study revealed, that, most of the respondents acknowledged that there are multi challenges facing and hindering the adoption of e-learning successfully in University of Gezira. The most significant findings were lack of infrastructure, lack of training, moreover the internet services, loading of e-learning contents, technical support and availability of hardware and software provided by university of Gezira to facilitate effective and successful of e-learning adoption is not enough. On the other hand the two prominent factors were noticed the respondents' believe the English language is not a barrier to implement e-learning. Moreover the respondents felts positive attitude toward e-learning. For successful of e-learning in general and in University of Gezira in particular the challenges should be addressed by University and possible solutions should be found.
