Abstract

Precise carbon emission computation method and impact factor assessment model are useful and meaningful for cities to reach Chinese emission peak target. This paper proposes a practical carbon emission calculation method based on energy balance table and an improved impact factor decomposition model using addition-based logarithmic mean Divisia index (LMDI) algorithm with extended Kaya identity which takes energy consumption structure of target city into consideration.
