Abstract
in this paper an analysis of the current state of the problem of modeling electromagnetic scattering on objects that can be located on the underlying surface and have masking covering is considered. The main steps of modeling and data processing for the electromagnetic scattering by the complex shape objects are considered. Main problems and their possible solutions are discussed.
