The system monitors the swimmer’s oxygen level and takes action based on the measured values by raising the safety net if a certain threshold is exceeded or pressing the bracelet panic button if something happens while swimming, such as muscle cramps. Abstract

The concept of a fully automated safety and security system for swimming pools is discussed in this paper, focusing on offering 24-hour of protection against drowning while swimming or when inadvertently falling into the water. The goal of this study, thus, is to reduce the number of unintentional deaths and drowning injuries by developing an efficient system that can take an appropriate action without any human intervention.
