We have calculated the amount of emission of CO2, SOX, NOX and other gases, which are produced while burning the coal, that get mixed with the atmosphere causing greenhouse effect and one of the main reason behind global warming. We have also calculated the amount of air, heat energy, and oxygen required to burn the coal. Finally the cost of energy (coal cost) saved annually at the national level is examined. Abstract
