Abstract

The term Cyber Physical System (CPS)was first introduced in 2006 by Hellen Gil in the National Science FoundationNSF. CPS was defined as a system composed of collaborative physical (sensorsand actuators) and cyber (computation and communication) entities, that insurea network between the system components. Nowadays, the vision of Industry 4.0and smart factory can't be held without looking through CPS, in fact, CPSdefines the key link between Industry 3.0 and Industry 4.0. Because, by itsidentity it is responsible for the link between virtual space and physicalreality, through the integration of networking, computing and storage. However,CPS is a system of components that communicate and interact with each otherthrough a wired or wireless communication network which increase thevulnerability to cyber-physical attacks generally and cyber-attacksspecifically. In this article, we provide a cyber physical model built on PetriNets to help understand the dynamic behavior of the component
