The mathematical models of the PMCM under two control strategies are built, and the control mode of the motor is analyzed. The three-dimensional finite element analysis model of the motor is established, and the motor performance under the two control strategies is simulated. The motor efficiency is higher when driven by square wave. The torque ripple of the motor is smaller when the motor is driven by sine wave. Abstract
Based on the analysis of two different control strategies of square wave drive and sine wave drive, the effects of the two driving modes on the performance of the permanent magnet canned motor (PMCM) are studied.
