Abstract

Pumps and fans have been produced using a Class 180°C thermosetting, bondable magnet wire. The insulated magnet wire has good flexibility and meets the requirements of high speed winding equipment. The bondable magnet wire is also being examined for electrical brake and hermetic applications. The new bondcoat is superior to previous systems with respect to bonding and resoftening temperatures, chemical resistance and mechanical properties.
