Letting Go and Staying Alert

Abstract

A project planned to last three months. A quarantine. The project target changes. Meetings are interspersed between periods of lockdown. Participants appear and then disappear. It’s the story of a sponsor who invests in making it work, with a group that can’t believe it could work, and nuggets that appear where they weren’t expected. From the hope of a result to the radiance of an attitude. A story that brings us back to the essence of Appreciative Inquiry – trusting in the process and keeping it alive, for it is at the edge of our field of vision that we can appreciate the movement of the living.
