In this paper, a HTSCS performance assessment model which employs failure rate (probability of top events) as the performance index based on fault tree analysis (FTA) method is presented. Based on this, the performance assessment procedure, the cause and probability of HTSCS failures are provided, and subsequently some advice on the improvement of HTSCS performance is given. Abstract
