The unit cell is composed of four very thin identical transparent layers in which a metal film with circular slot is used. By the use of graphene sectors etched in four symmetrical places of the slot, it is possible to change the resonance frequency and subsequently the phase of the incident wave. Abstract
A reconfigurable transmissive metasurface with a gradient phase variation based on the interaction between metal and graphene is proposed. The unit cell is composed of four very thin identical transparent layers in which a metal film with circular slot is used. By the use of graphene sectors etched in four symmetrical places of the slot, it is possible to change the resonance frequency and subsequently the phase of the incident wave.
