Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging is now a relatively mature technique, with a variety of sequences with different functions have derived from conventional magnetic resonance imaging, each with its own advantages in monitoring brain function, detecting oedema or infarction, identifying tumours and assessing prognosis.
