In this work, we offer a systematic literature mapping to provide a clear overview of blockchain technology’s potential advantage and influence on long-term supply chain performance. We also discuss the differences that could be laid out between the non-blockchain supply chain and a supply chain that utilises blockchain-based solutions. Modern applications are then analysed regarding their industry, implemented blockchain framework and addressed challenges. Abstract

In recent times, blockchain technology has seen an unprecedented growth to new areas beyond finance into varied industries. Theoretical models in areas such as pharmacy, fashion and logistics as a whole have proved the technology’s mettle in effective supply chain management.
