Abstract

This chapter addresses ways that teachers might assess students’ work in technology-based music. Assessment of creative work can be difficult for teachers because of the open-ended nature of most assignments. Rather than thinking about assessment as the culmination of an educational cycle, teachers should embed assessment into every lesson, every activity, and their plans for everything that comes next.
