Most of the developments related to AmI so far are concentrated either in the healthcare (e.g. smart homes for the elderly), or automotive (smart cars) sectors. This paper provides an overview of the use of AmI in educational environments. One aim of this article is to increase the awareness of the possibilities that AmI bring to the teaching and learning environment.
