اللغة العربیة ودورها فی وحدة الأمة

Abstract

إن اللغة - أی لغة - هی المعبرة عن شخصیة الأمة الناطقة بها، تصف حاضرهم من تقدم ورقی، أو تخلف وانحطاط، وتسجل آمالهم وآلامهم، فلا عجب أن تکون اللغة هی المعبرة عن ماضی الأمة وحاضرها ومستقبلها. واللغة العربیة -فی ذلک کله- شأنها شأن بقیة اللغات، نقرأ أدبها الجاهلی - مثلا- فنتعرف من خلاله على حیاة العربی، طبیعتها، وخصائصها، وما کان یحبه العرب ویألفونه، وما یکرهونه ویأنفون منه، ومن خلاله نعرف - أیضا - عاداتهم فی أفراحهم وأتراحهم، وحربهم وسلمهم، ودیاناتهم، وأخلاقهم، وشعائرهم وطقوسهم، وأسواقهم، ونعرف منه - کذلک- ترکیبتهم الاجتماعیة القبلیة، ورحلاتهم داخل الجزیرة العربیة وخارجها. کما نتعرف على البیئة العربیة فی ذاک الزمان، طبیعتها وخصائصها، وما یوجد فیها من نبات، وجبال، وأودیة، وآبار، وما ینتشر فیها من حیوانات، وغیر ذلک کثیر. ومن هنا تأتی أهمیة هذا الموضوع (اللغة العربیة ودورها فی وحدة الأمة) حیث یجلی هذا البحث دور اللغة العربیة فی وحدة الأمة وبناء الحضارة العربیة الإسلامیة.           Arabic Language and its Role in the Unity of the Nation By: Prof. Mohammed Moussa Alsaid Gebara Professor of Linguistic Vice Dean of the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies  (Females Branch) in Port Said Abstract The language, any language, is the mother tongue which expresses the character of its nation, its present and advancement or its deterioration and backwardness. It also records their hopes and pains. Then, it is not surprising to handle the language as the tool that expresses the past, present and future of any nation.  Arabic language, like any other language, has its Jahiley literature, if it is read we can get an idea about the life of an Arab citizen, its nature, its characteristics, what that Arab loved and used to do, what he disliked and abhorred. Through that reading, we can also learn about the Arabs’ wedding and death customs, war and peace traditions, their religion, their manners, their rituals and their markets. In addition, we learn about their social and tribal structures as well as their travels within the Arabian Peninsula or abroad. We also learn about the Arabian environment in that time; its nature and its characteristics concerning what it includes; plants, mountains, valleys, wells and the animals roaming around…etc. The importance of this topic arises from the role of Arabic language and how it keeps the unity of the nation together with building up the Arabic and Islamic civilization.
