The proposed control strategy uses a novel operation mode identification to provide a proper response considering common nonlinearities in the power system. Both the conventional control method and the proposed control method have been applied to a distribution network via MATLAB/SIMULINK®. Abstract

In this paper, a Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) applied to distribution-synchronous series compensator (D-SSSC) based on the cascaded H-bridge (CHB) converter is introduced.
