Abstract

The values of the maximum temperatures and the influence of their deviations from the experimental data on the assessment of the actual thermal stability of the structure have been analyzed on the basis of a comparison of the experimental and calculated values of the heating of the elements of the solid rotor of a synchronous machine. The low adequacy of experimental methods of the assessment of solid toothed rotors thermal stability has been proved.
