Abstract

This study presents an improvement of a classical IFOC speed control technique for a 3 phased asynchronous machine by implementing a Fuzzy Logic controller and an MRAS observer replacing speed sensor. Different simulations are made to investigate the robustness of speed estimation and control of rotor speed by imposing sudden variations in speed reference and load nature. The obtained results show the efficiency and the robustness of both developed MRAS speed observer and Fuzzy Logic controller against the introduced perturbations.
