Abstract

The possibility and peculiarities of developing a method and creating a device for remote detection of explosive objects are considered. The proposed device is an active-passive radar consisting of active and passive channels operating on common antenna. The features, advantages and drawbacks of the proposed device are noted in comparison with traditional radar.
