Abstract

The aim of this work is to prepare five samples of Polymer Bonded Explosives (PBXs) with various percent of Isoprene Rubber (IR) and Cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine (RDX) (RDX /IR), based on Sulfur Vulcanization process, and applying them on warheads as insensitive explosive. Density, sensitivity to impact, and ignition temperature have been tested.
