The MIMO system uses spatial multiplexing at the transmitter, the receiver uses Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) linear signal detection method. Spatial multiplexing is use to increase the data rate of the system. Abstract

Cooperative Multi-Input Multi-output (CMIMO) is an extension to cooperative communication. It promises significant improvements in spectral efficiency and network coverage.
