Abstract

Procedures related to the gene bank storage processes are crucial for the functioning of such institutions. Ensuring the appropriate level of quality of these procedures definitely affects the safety of the stored genetic material and improves the inventory and sharing of resources and information about them. This article presents an IT system based on IoT technologies, created in the national Agrobank project, whose task is to support processes and procedures related to the functioning of the genebank.
