The control strategies are modeled in MATLAB/Simulink and the results have been evaluated. Abstract
This paper presents the application of three different vector control methods DTC, DTC-SVM and FOC for automobile application. A general description of each of the vector control methods and it’s working has been presented. Each of the vector control methods are subjected to a variable drive cycle to test its performance and efficiency with a 37 kW induction motor.
