Fuzzy logic control (FLC) is used to decide the regenerative braking component so that the battery remains in safe operating conditions. For analyzing the importance of driving pattern, the urban and highway driving cycles are considered separately. Abstract

The emissions from vehicles have been a serious issue since the last century. To curb this problem, research in the field of automobiles gained momentum and the best alternative found is promoting usage of electric vehicles, in particular battery electric vehicles (BEV). Modeling of EV helps to carry out an in depth analysis before developing a real time model.
