Abstract

Achieving a high level of motivation in teaching mathematics is one of the most important problems. Taking into account the fact that motivation to study mathematics is the result of educational activity, the question arises of finding reserves that contribute to its formation. In this paper, based on the analysis of factors influencing the formation of motivation, variants of tasks of mathematical competitions for students with different levels of motivation are proposed.
