The method was to select 30 patients who underwent enterostomy surgery and peer education at the Changhai Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Naval Military Medical University from December 2018 to March 2019, issue questionnaires before and after the patients received peer education, and then compare the changes of patients' anxiety and depression before and after the peer education.The results are shown below. After an ostomy patient received peer education, the anxiety and depression scores were lower than those before peer education, and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05).
