Abstract The American Psychiatric Association published the text revision (DSM-5-TR) to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-5) in March 2022. This is an update to the 2013 publication of the original manual. The DSM-5-TR features the most current text updates based on the current scientific literature with the goal of increasing the accuracy and consistency with which clinicians make a psychiatric diagnosis (1). The following article details the changes that were made in the DSM5-TR.
