Abstract
Acute urticaria is a common disease, typically presents with edematous pink or red wheals of variable sizes and shape and pruritic lesions. We report a case of acute urticaria with no response of corticotherapy initially. An etiologic study was performed, but no etiology was found. This evidence that a directed history and physical examination can guide necessary diagnostic testing and allow for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
