The finding showed; (1) There was difference between mean of extrovert students, which was (76.5) and the mean of introvert students, which was (82). (2)The result of ttes was -1,980 and it was smaller than ttable in the degree of significance 5% (2,048 > -1,980). The result showed that the students’ personality difference had no statistically difference to the students’ speaking skill. Based on the result of the research, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was rejected and null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted. Abstract

The aims of this study were to know there was a difference between the extrovert and introvert students’ on their speaking skill and which one was better on speaking skill at the second grade students of SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. 三中二年级外向型学生与内向型学生口语技能的比较研究
本研究的目的是了解外向型学生和内向型学生在武吉亭吉中学二年级学生的口语技巧上的差异,以及哪一方在口语技巧上更胜一筹。本研究采用描述性定量方法。本研究的工具是问卷调查,根据学生的性格进行分类,并进行口语测试,得到他们的口语分数。人口为武吉亭吉三院二年级学生,样本为30名有目的分配的学生。研究结果表明;(1)外向型学生的均值为(76.5),内向型学生的均值为(82);(2)试验结果为- 1980,显著性小于表值5% (2048 >-1980)。结果表明,学生的性格差异对学生的口语能力无统计学差异。根据研究结果,我们拒绝了备择假设(Ha),接受了零假设(Ho)。综上所述,外向型学生与内向型学生在武吉亭吉小学二年级学生的口语能力上无显著差异。
