Abstract
The relationship among women, art, and society is a valuable framework for exploring the changing social circumstances of Indian women artisans. The cultural legacy of women artists and their visual art practices are now being accepted as an intellectual contribution in the world of art. The recognition in the global arena motivates rural women to continue forward.
