PRISMA-ScR guidelines resulted in twenty-five articles. Findings suggest TSY/TIY can have positive impacts on client outcomes, such as improved self-regulation and awareness, increased self-care, and overall enhanced quality of life. There is limited research, however what is current, is a promising complimentary intervention in addressing mental health disorders.
